Director Sun from the quality inspection department of Provincial Agricultural Commission,came to inspect Bozhou GYT's Chinese herbal medicine standardization planting base
On December 31, Director Sun from the quality inspection department of Provincial Agricultural Commission, Section chief Hu Xiaohong and Dong Ling, researcher and deputy director from Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences horticulture came to inspect Bozhou GYT's Chinese herbal medicine standardization planting base, doing research on the cultivation and growth of chrysanthemum morifolium. Chrysanthemum morifolium is 'Chinese character' rare resource species included in the 'Chinese Pharmacopoeia' whose quality of chrysanthemum varieties has long enjoyed a good reputation in history, ranking the first place among 'Chrysanthemum morifolium','Chu Ju', 'Gong Ju'and 'Hang Ju'. In recent years, due to low yield of Chrysanthemum morifolium, commodity value has not obtained the effective development and the enthusiasm for the farmers to plant it is not high, facing resource depletion crisis. In order to protect the rare resource, GYT organized relevant experts, established chrysanthemum cultivation demonstration base, doing some research on variety screening ,purification and rejuvenation, forming 500 acres of pure strains of Chrysanthemum morifolium demonstration planting area and laying a solid foundation for chrysanthemum inheritance and development and the scale of planting.
Director Wang Jingcai from Municipal Agricultural Technology Promotion Center, Director Li Bo from Municipal Agricultural Products Management Office and Section chief Zhang Tao took part in the inspection.
